Guides turned into mechanics for one night only as they were put through their paces by a motor dealer.

Paragon Motor Company welcomed members of the 3rd Wisbech Guides Senior Section to an evening of basic car maintenance. Subjects covered included changing wheels, using modern inflation kits, under bonnet checks and best practice tips and advice.

Gary Robinson, Paragon managing director, said: “The evening had been well received by both the guides and the adults present.

“We were very impressed with the basic understanding of motor vehicles and we hope the guides will derive some benefit when they commence their own driving experience in the future.”

Guide leader Sheila Otter thanked Paragon Motor Company for providing valuable support and an enjoyable evening for the girls.
