A school catering team from Wisbech and a caterer from Christchurch have picked up prestigious awards.
Lynne Ward and Sarah Taylor, of Nene Infants and Nursery School in Wisbech, were named School Catering Team of the Year at the Cambridgeshire Catering and Cleaning Services (CCS) Awards.
Sharon Marshall, of Townley Primary School in Christchurch, received the 10 out of 10 Award, which recognises people who have increased the amount of children enjoying school meals.
Richard Ware, head of CCS, said: “These awards recognise those individuals who have gone the extra mile in providing services to schools and the council and the energy and commitment they have shown in their work.”
