Perhaps the worthy councillors who write in support of Etcetera for use as a post office should consider the facts before sitting down at their computers.
Post Office PLC, or whatever they are calling themselves after the Government give away of shares, have stated that in the event of Etcetera not providing a service, Wisbech post office will stay in place.
Let’s face the facts. Ray Wicks may not simpy be considering the good of the community but the profit he can make.
In the final analysis Wisbech needs the post office. The question is “does it need Etcetera?”
