A school in Wisbech got into the Harvest Festival spirit by collecting food for a local food bank.
St Peter’s Junior school, Wisbech held a Harvest festival assembly on Wednesday October 21 which was well attended by the pupils’ parents.
Each year group from years three to six performed a Harvest song, read a story and shared a prayer.
The children all wore autumnal colours and collected produce for the local Food bank.
The School’s council wrote to local supermarkets to ask for donations to the food bank and the school would like to thank ‘Morrisons’ who provided generously.
