Visitors to a Fenland shopping centre on February 14 can expect a Valentine’s Day surprise.
Wisbech’s Horsefair Shopping Centre has teamed up with the British Heart Foundation to hand out chocolates during the day.
Those who pick a lucky chocolate with a red paper heart inside the wrapper will win prizes, which will include gifts from Boots, Angel’s Oasis and Card Factory and Cardzone.
Horsefair manager Kevin Smith will be joined by Janet Kenworthy, of the British Heart Foundation, who will be collecting donations for the heart charity.
The store is also running the national Love Notes campaign where people can declare their love for someone by posting a note in the store’s window for a donation of £1.
Mr Smith said: “We have run the Valentine’s Day competition for a number of years now and it’s always really popular and great way to raise some much needed cash for a great charity.”
