MEMBERS of a Wisbech theatre group stripped off to raise more than £700 for a cancer charity.

Wisbech Players, who staged a production of Calendar Girls at the Angles Theatre, Wisbech, last autumn, sold calendars featuring the cast of ladies in a state of undress.

On Tuesday the play’s director, Barbara Mews, presented a cheque for £704.90 to Andy Fuller, chairman of the Spalding and Bourne branch of the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Fund.
