BRITAIN in Bloom judges were given a tour of Wisbech on Sunday.

The town is representing Anglia in this year’s large town category.

Streets were swept, thousands of cigarette butts picked up, litter put in bins and bollards and posts painted to make sure the town looked its best for the judges arrival.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in October.

The Royal Horticultural Society’s Britain in Bloom is one of Europe’s largest horticultural campaigns, with more than 1,100 cities, towns and villages taking part.
