POLICE have appealed for witnesses to a crash which left an 85-year-old man with serious injuries.

Fire fighters had to remove the roof of one of the vehicles involved in the accident on the A605 Coates Road at 10.30am on Wednesday (August 29).

A white Isuzu Grafter tipper truck, silver Vauxhall Vectra and blue Vauxhall Corsa were involved in the smash.

The 85-year-old man’s injuries were serious but not life threatening.
