A woman in her 60s is in a critical but stable condition after suffering a cardiac arrest yesterday.
At 1,30pm, Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nathan Howes and paramedic Dan Read) met with an EEAST Ambulance Paramedic Crew on route from Whittlesey to hospital.
A woman had gone into cardiac arrest and was successfully resuscitated by the ambulance crew.
The ambulance crew then requested the assistance of the Helimedix after the patient’s condition deteriorated.
The Magpas team anesthetised the woman before they accompanied the patient to Papworth Hospital by land ambulance alongside the crew.
