Woman injured in two-car collision between Chatteris and Doddington

THE EAST Anglian Air Ambulance attended a two car crash that happened this morning at 8.48am between Chatteris and Doddington.

Police closed the area at Doddington Road while they attended the collision at the junction with Forty Foot Road and Chatteris Road, the Ramsey turn.

A woman in her 60s received head and chest injuries in the incident and was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital by land ambulance for treatment.

A Magpas spokesman said: “Luckily she had only sustained minor injuries as had the other driver.”

The road was closed at 9.13 and re-opened at 10am.
