A WOMAN was robbed in a Wisbech alleyway after a man punched her in the face before stealing her purse.
The 22-year-old was walking along the path between Henson Close and Haley Close between 5.30-5.55pm last Wednesday when she was attacked.
The offender grabbed her purse and ran off. The victim tried to chase after him but he was too quick.
He is described as about 6ft and was wearing a black Superdry coat with red writing on the back.
Pc Chris Goodman said: “I would urge anyone who saw a man acting suspiciously or running away from the area at around the time of the robbery to call police.”
