ST CLEMENT Women's Club held its fortnightly meeting in the village hall. After a welcome by chairman Mavis Beckett and a short business session the whole evening was given over to games with a break for refreshments. Midway through members arranged themselves into teams for bowls or groups to play cards. At the latest meeting vice-chairman Pam Bullock welcomed everyone. During a business session a letter of thanks from Quidenham Children's Hospice was read relating to the cheque sent as a result of a collection and raffle at the Christmas Carol evening and other donations.
Treasurer Pauline Garrett then showed a video film entitled A Portrait of Victorian Lynn 1837 to 1901 narrated by Robert Hardy.
