ST Clement Women's Group held its fortnightly meeting at the home of member Margaret Halstead. Vice-chairman Pam Bullock welcomed everyone, then after a short business session a recipe exchange and tasting began. Savoury dishes were made by Pat Hornigold, Pauline Garrett and Carol Pollendine. Sweet and dessert items were made by Rita Day, Janet Flowers, Margaret Halstead, Eileen Harris, and Pam Bullock. Each member in turn displayed their contribution, described how it was made, and gave out the recipe. Afterwards members were able to taste whatever they chose. Pam Bullock organised a trivia quiz, the winners being Judith Smart and Margaret Halstead. During the evening lists of future programmes were distributed and menus for a meal at the Rising Sun at Leverington in May chosen. At the next meeting Chris Mackie will talk about the Sedgeford historical and archaeological project.
