AT the September WI meeting a demonstration on stir-fry cooking was given by Andrew Binks. The competition for a necklace of vegetables resulted in five points to Jessie Morton, four to Margaret Hodge, three to Joan Thompson and two to Glenda Webb. Next month's meeting will be a harvest festival on October 3 (7pm), when the speaker will be Andrew Ingram, talking about trains and canals. The competition will be for an old black and white photograph.
