The 101 non emergency number for Cambridgeshire police is back working.
A police spokesman said: “Police in Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire would like to inform the public that the problem with national 101 non – emergency number has now been resolved.
“Members of the public should now phone 101 for non – emergency police matters.”
Earlier police had urged the public not to use use it until “a problem is fixed”.
The spokesman “apologised for any inconvenience caused”
