Give your house a seasonal sparkle and you could be in to win a prize trophy being launched for the first time this year for the best dressed house in March.

Rob and Laura Skoulding have bought a special trophy for the home which creates the most Christmas cheer in a competition that will encourage people to nominate their neighbours.

Councillor Skoulding said: “The cup is for the best decorated home in March and will hopefully encourage people to really bring some festive cheer to the town this year.

“People can nominate themselves, or a neighbour, or they can even nominate a house they happen to have driven past.”

The houses will be judged in December when Mayor Councillor Kit Owen makes a tinsel trip through town to judge the houses on his judging list.

Anyone can nominate by emailing the Cambs Times editor john.elworthy@archant.co.uk or by dropping nominations to March Town Council offices on the market place next to Panini’s coffee shop.
