A YOUNG girl suffered a serious leg injury at Friday Bridge yesterday afternoon, following a road traffic incident involving a pedestrian and a car.
A doctor and a paramedic from Magpas Helimedix arrived at the scene at about 5pm by rapid response BMW.
The Magpas team assessed the girl, and administered strong pain relief before accompanying her in a land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. An East of England Ambulance Service crew and Cambridgeshire police were also on the scene.
On arrival at the hospital, the patient was in a stable condition.
