Seven budding young referees were put through their paces during a two day FA referees course at Wisbech Town.

Organised by Cambridgeshire FA, the course entailed practical as well as theory sessions. The participants will now be able to referee local football games.

Alan Young, Cambs FA referee development officer, said: “The course participants did extremely well and I look forward to monitoring their progress and seeing them develop as referees.”

The next March Ref Club meeting will be on Wednesday March 4 from 7pm-8.30pm at March Conservative Club.

All new and existing referees are welcome. For more information, contact Robert Windle on 07970 228790
