A YOUTH Council for Fenland could be agreed later this month.
The cabinet will consider the proposals on May 25 setting out the terms of reference, rules and regulations.
Youngsters will be given an introduction to Fenland Council and then go onto elect their chairman for the coming year.
All local schools have been contacted, and Fenland says it has received "a very positive response and promise of commitment from all of them".
Only Wisbech Grammar School has declined and "do not wish to partake at this time", councillors were told.
