A YOUTH football team received a boost after March Bears Rugby Club donated them five balls - and none of them were egg-shaped!
Barry Feetham, Bears president, presented the footballs to March Rangers Under-15s football team club captain Jacob Birt and his team-mates Lewis Welcher, Callum Randall and Luke Thornton.
Mr Feetham said: “I often watch the side train on Saturday morning while I’m preparing our rugby pitch.
“I love the commitment and spirit this team has and wanted to encourage the boys in their training with this donation from our club. All sport is important to the youth of the town and to see kids enjoying their sport - whatever thay may be - is so rewarding.
“They are a great bunch of kids and I hope this donation helps to keep the boys enjoying their football and everyone at the Bears wish them all the best for the upcoming season.”
