CANOEIST Warren Pettit had a disappointing time at the second of his two summer races in North Wales and is now taking two months off to concentrate on training.
On his first run, he missed ther sixth gate and incurred a 50-second penalty, while, on the second, he punctured his boat on a rock.
"My time was only two seconds slower on the second run, which was remarkable as the boat was half full of water," he said after finishing 31st from a field of 34.
