WISBECH racing driver Liam McMillan remains unbeaten in this year's inaugural SaxMax season, following his latest victories in the double-header at Pembrey.
Liam, 16, dominated the weekend from start to finish and showed his undoubted potential to lead the way in both qualifying sessions and races.
Liam qualified for pole from Saturday's qualifying session after recording a lap of 1:13.03, a time 0.4 seconds ahead of his nearest rival, Daniel Brown.
Fellow Wisbech driver Andrew Tibbs, 14, crossed the line in a time of 1:14.87 to take seventh place on the grid of Saturday's race.
Unfortunately, Andrew was forced to retire from the race on lap four but Liam went on to dominate the field from the front and finish almost two seconds ahead of Robert Brown in second place.
But the best was saved till last. Liam again qualified for pole, lapping almost a second ahead of Robert Brown, and Andrew qualified in third place.
Sunday's race proved to be the perfect one for the two Wisbech racers as Andrew moved up to second place and followed race-winner Liam across the line.
