March Golf Club’s captain and vice captain went head-to-head for the last time last weekend.
Ivan Roberts and Mick Russell hosted their last official event last Saturday before the pair hand over their captaincies next month at the club’s AGM (December 16).
Teams of six pairs took part but neither could come out on top and a draw was settled.
Meanwhile, the club hosted its Seniors Winter Medal competition on November 8.
John Farnsworth finished third with a nett score of 72, Thomas Dean was runner-up with nett 70 and former seniors captain, Derek Wisbey, claimed top spot with nett 69.
