There was a case of debut delight for young striker Toby Allen on Saturday - but his first goal wasn’t enough to guide March Town to all three points.
The youngster - recently signed from Outwell Swifts - looked destined to have scored the winner against AFC Sudbury Reserves when his header found the net after the hour, but his new side were denied a first win since December 17 when Sudbury’s Jake Colclough looped a fine strike into the top corner in added time.
Mel Mattless’ men now occupy 16th place in the Thurlow Nunn First Division, but are just four points off of 13th-placed Team Bury.
Next up for the Hares is the visit of league-toppers Coggeshall Town - who have only experienced defeat twice all season - on Saturday (3pm).
