March Town extended their 100 per cent Cambridgeshire Women’s Championship North record in stunning style last weekend.
The Hares hammered Thurlby Tigers Ladies 8-0 in their final fixture of 2016 to remain at the top of the division going into the New Year.
Star striker Louise Barbour helped herself to another hat-trick, Livvi Hodges bagged a brace and goals from Raechel Luty, Dani Westgate and Emma Frost completed the rout on another wonderful afternoon for the local outfit.
March return to action on January 8, when they travel to Swineshead (2pm).
They then face one of their toughest tasks to date – an Invitation Cup clash with Camnbridge United Ladies on January 15.
