It’s safe to say that March Bears have found their scoring form in the Eastern Counties Division Three West.
Stewart Rigby starred with a superb hat-trick as the local side bagged 50 points for the second straight match last weekend, dismantling Old Cantabrigians 3rds 50-7.
Rigby’s treble along with scores from Giles Skiba, Simon Whittaker, Kris Feaviour, James Knight and Simon Hayes also dotting down fired March into second in the league standings – a perfect warm-up for their top-of-the-table clash with leaders Cambourne this Saturday.
Like March, Cambourne can also boast a 100 per cent record after wins over Haverhill 2nds, Newmarket 2nds and West Norfolk 3rds.
