MORE than 8,000 fishing enthusiasts are expected to head to Peterborough Nene Embankment next weekend for one of the biggest fishing events in the region.
Tacklefest will be on July 12-13.
There will be free coaching for children, demonstrations from top angling experts like Bob Nudd, live music and the Angling Times Team Championship final.
Fishing equipment will also be on sale and there will be a competition for children to send in their favourite fish pictures to be featured in the Angling Times.
