The Paralympic 100m champion bounced back from the previous week’s narrow loss to his great rival Richard Browne at the Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games with a dominant performance.

In the men’s ambulant seeded finals, Peacock crossed the line in 11.04secs, almost three tenths faster than Zac Shaw (11.32).

It was also a great weekend for Glen Watts, formerly of March, who won the 3000m steeplechase.

His time (9.15.02) was two and a half seconds better than his nearest challenger Alex Milne (9.07.70). Fellow Cambridgeshire runner Josh Lunn finished eighth (9.26.49).
