THERE were several successes for young badminton players at the round robin tournament, held at the Bushfield Sports Centre, Peterborough.The event attracted players from across Cambridgeshire and four players from March and Chatteris were among the winners in singles and doubles events.Stacey and Beth Parrish, of Norwood Avenue, March, won the girls' doubles after winning 15-10 in the final.The boys' under-17 doubles was won by Johnnie Henson, of Chatteris, and Louis Bird, of March. It turned out to be a good day for Johnnie as he also won the under-17 singles competition.All four players are members of the Cambridgeshire badminton team and at 12 years-old, Beth Parrish is the youngest county player.
