Two young members of March Indoor Bowls Club have shown their potential at a Cambridgeshire school of excellence.
Johnathan Darwood, 11, and Sam Mall, 12, formed part of a 48-strong field competing in the Chesterton Indoor Bowls Club's School of Excellence tournament on Sunday.
It was the first time that either bowler had taken part in the competition but they performed brilliantly. Johnathan made it all the way to the final, where he was beaten in the last match, and Sam reached the quarter-finals.
