Jack Smith is hoping to mark his 20th birthday with a win in the ring.
The Chatteris bantamweight prospect will gun for a second professional success at the famous York Hall in Bethnal Green on the night of his birthday – December 2.
Smith, who fights out of St Ives Boxing Academy, experienced defeat in his first bout in the paid ranks earlier this year but bounced back in style with a classy points win over the experienced Gary Reeve in July.
The 19-year-old has had a loyal band of followers travel with him to his fights in London and Norwich, and he hopes for another bumper crowd backing him in three months’ time.
He said: “For anyone wanting to come, keep that date free. And as it’s my birthday, don’t hesitate to bring some cake for after my fight!”
