Youngster Owen McVicar was crowned boxer of the night after storming to victory at Ernie’s ABC Home Show last Saturday night.
Hundreds of boxing fans descended on the Cromwell Leisure Centre to take in 12 bouts of action feautring the region’s finest young fighters, and Owen won his fight to catch the attention of guest of honour Dave ‘Boy’ Green and take the title of best boxer.
His latest victory means he has won three out of three of his boxing matches.
Coach Ernie Payne said: “Every one of my boxers fought to a very high standard and I’d like to thank everyone who came and give a special thanks to the sponsors who help keep the club going.”
