Brave Estover Park Girls Under-11s shine in first competitive match
ESTOVER Park Girls Under-11s produced a performance to be proud of in their first competitive match despite losing 3-1 to Sawtry.
Park battled back valiantly from going 3-0 down in 10 minutes with goalscorer Hana Howsam and player of the match Amy Smith shining.
The club’s under-11s boys lost 3-2 to last season’s runners-up Wootton with man of the match Garrison Asher and Luke Thorne bagging Park’s goals.
Elsewhere, Estover’s under-15s girls rued missed chances as they drew 2-2 at home to Clenchwarton. Paris Wakelen and Rhi Butler scored the hosts’ goals.
