Burwell’s third X1 continued their winning streak beating Wimblington firsts away in the Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire Premier League Mr Cricket CCA Junior League 3 North.
The team have now notched up six wins out of seven matches with only Fulbourn Intsitute’s second X1 causing a blip in their season so far.
Saturday’s match saw the home side electing to bat first hitting a respectable 146 for nine.
Burwell then took to the crease and disappointed the home team’s hopes of victory by thumping 156 for six off 40 overs.
This weekend the team hopes to continue their run of good fortune when they entertain Somersham Town first X1 on Saturday.
