MARCH Town United put up a spirited display against title contenders Cambridge University Press but came away empty handed,
The Hares made the perfect start to the game, with Andy Bryan heading home Danny Emmington’s corner with barely two minutes gone.
They hung on to their lead until eight minutes into the second half.
CUP’s class shone through as they added two further goals.
March, who sit 14th in the Thurlow Nunn League First Division, will next be in action at home to Team Bury.
