Park Ladies ended their preparations for their huge Ladies FA Cup clash with Northampton Town Ladies by inviting three of the counties finest ladies football teams to take part a tournament.

Park, who sealed promotion to the Cambs Women’s Premiership after a stunning campaign last season, welcomed Riverside Reserves, March Town LFC and St Ives Town LFC to Parkfield Sports Club in Wimblington for the 11-a-side tournament last weekend.

Each side played in 60 minute matches and St Ives came out on top after winning all three of their games.

Park and March Town shared second place on equal points. The tournament is expected to return next year.

Park begin their competitive season on September 18 at home against Northampton, before hosting Bar Hill LFC in their first league match on September 25.
