VOLUNTEERS turned out in force to help Chatteris Cricket Club get ready for the new season by giving their ground a spring clean.
Saturday’s effort was part of the country-wide NatWest CricketForce initiative, which saw members and local businesses pitch in to maintain their local cricket club.
Volunteers helped paint the pavilion, put up practice nets, tidy the patio and clear the hedge cuttings.
The club would like to thank all those who took part and local businesses Ridgeons, Travis Perkins and Chatteris DIY Centre for supplying materials.
