Joe Perry has potted his way into the quarter finals of the International Championship, where he will face Snooker legend John Higgins tomorrow.
Perry, from Chatteris, beat Ben Woollaston 6-5 today in the third round of the competition in Daqing.
Woollaston gave Perry a scare in their encounter; forcing his way back into the tie and forcing a deciding frame after Perry secured breaks of 50, 52 and 68.
Perry now faces the Scotsman Higgins, who made short work of Shaun Higgins in his third round match, winning 6-0.
