Joe Perry is out to improve on his miserable record in The Masters tomorrow.
The Chatteris cueman takes on Barry Hawkins at the Alexandra Palace in London in the first round of a tournament featuring the top 16 players in the world.
The Masters has not been a successful event for Perry - he has only won one match during seven previous appearances.
Perry, ranked 10th in the world, eased past Chinese ace Ding Junhui 6-3 in the opening round last year before being beaten by Mark Allen in the quarter-finals.
