Chatteris boxer Jordan Gill promises his fans an “awesome” performance when he steps into the ring for the last time this year on Sunday.
The undefeated 20 year-old will be out to extend his perfect professional record to 12 wins when he takes on Jamie Quinn at the show in Leicester.
Gill said: “It should be a good scrap. He’ll be looking to knock me out but I am faster, stronger, fitter, than ever.
“Training has been amazing in preparation for this fight and spectators can look forward to seeing an awesome performance.”
Gill feels he has really raised his game this year - he lives away from his friends and family in order to focus solely on his craft.
And being part of Kell Brook’s training camps means he gets to spar with some of the best boxers on the planet.
Gill said: “It’s been an incredible year - yes its been a huge investment this year, and sacrifices have had to be made, but its also very exciting.
