The result of the 50 target shooting competition at Washbrooke Farm, Doddington on Sunday couldn't have been closer, with three marksmen tying for the lead.Dave Wallis, of Walpole Highway, Mark Bridgement, of March, and Ramsey's John Shotbolt all shot 35 targets to share the honours.Manea's Steve Allen won the skeet competition with a score of 24 ex 25 and just held off the challenge of Chatteris' John Deighton who finished one shot behind.Mark Bridgement was celebrating victory in the down the line competition when he scored 22 ex 25, ahead of Prickwillow's Derrick Vout who shot 17 ex 25.The next shoot at Fenland Gun Club will take place at 10.30am on January 22.
