March Town United will be out for revenge when they travel to Swaffham Town on Saturday.

The Hares lost 2-0 when the two sides met at the GER in August.

There are 11 places between fifth place Swaffham and 16th place March in the Thurlow Nunn First Division, but boss Paul Crosbie believes his side can go there and pick up three points.

The game will see March reunited with Lewis Thompson, who left the Hares to join Swaffham in September.

Midfielder Jonathon Gibbons will miss the game through suspension after picking up five bookings.

He said: “We go there with a strong squad of 19 players, so I will have some decisions to make.

“Swaffham have a good front three, a good goalkeeper and a relatively strong midfield.

“But we have strength in those positions as well.

“We have not been consistent enough this season but we have been pretty good lately on the road, putting in some decent performances since November.

“We are going there to get three points. If we play to our potential, we have every opportunity of achieving that.”

March’s home game with Cornard United on Saturday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Their last game was a morale boosting 2-0 win over Downham Town on December 28.
