WISBECH Town could meet fierce rivals March Town United in a thrilling FA Cup derby after a mouth-watering draw was revealed today.

The Hares will host the Fenmen at the GER in the preliminary round on September 3 - but only if both teams can get past their extra preliminary round opponents.

Wisbech host Halstead Town while March are also at home to Ridgeons Premier Division side Kirkley & Pakefield, with both fixtures to played on August 20.

The side that manages to progress to the first round qualifying will be rewarded with a home tie against either Wroxham, Dereham Town, Long Melford or Saffron Walden Town.

In the FA Vase, Wisbech Town will host either Stowmarket Town, Hadleigh United, Walsham-le-Willows or Fakenham Town in the first round proper on October 22.

The Fenmen were rewarded for last season’s fourth-placed league finish with a bye in the first two rounds of the competition.

But March Town United will have to earn their place and must travel to Ridgeons Premier Division Mildenhall Town in the first round qualifying on September 10.
