WISBECH Town will meet their fierce rivals King’s Lynn Town in a pre-season friendly on July 14.
Fenmen boss Steve Appleby confirmed the money-spinning tie last night, much to the delight of fans.
The game will be played at the Walks next Saturday, with Wisbech’s friendly against Sleaford Town moved to Thursday July 12.
It will be the first time that the teams have clashed since 2003/4 at Fenland Park.
The fixture comes weeks after Appleby was snubbed by the Linnets when he approached them about playing home and away friendlies.
