Former England spinner and newly-appointed spin bowling coach Robert Croft entertained sixty members of March Town Cricket Club with tales of his long career as they celebrated the club’s 30th annual dinner.
The Welshman told stories of his 23-year-long career to the club’s guests and members on Friday January 15, and recalled his times with Glamorgan and the national side, and his dealings with ex-England coach Duncan Fletcher and the legendary Sir Vivian Richards.
Club secretary Stephen Wallis, who helped organise the dinner, said: “Everyone was particularly impressed with his professional approach which mirrored his long cricketing career.”
