A FENLAND bowls star has been selected for the England Under-18 side.

Rising talent Edward Elmore, from Doddington, will represent his country at the British Isles Indoor Under-18 International Series at the end of October.

The 16-year-old, who plays for the City of Ely, has enjoyed a sparkling season - beating clubmate Ben Ackroyd in the final of the inaugural Lincoln Junior Open.
