Fenland Gun Club celebrate 25th anniversary with thrilling shoot-off
MEMBERS of Fenland Gun Club celebrated 25 years of clay target shooting with a thrilling three way shoot-off for the Silver Pigeon Trophy on Sunday.
Mark Bridgement, of March, held his nerve to beat Derrick Vout, of Prickwillow, and Adrian Slack, of Eastrea, in the final stages at Washbrooke Farm, Doddington.
The event, which saw a host of winners in different classes, marked the club’s 25th anniversary. The club will shoot again on August 14.
