RUNNERS from Fenland conquered courses across the country in a weekend of impressive performances.
March Athletic Club entered 10 members in the Eye Community Runners 10K on Sunday, with Jason Perring (46th, 40:39) and Debra Wait (71st, 42:27) leading the way.
Ady Martin (33rd, 39.23) was first home for Fenland Running Club with Nick Meekins and Sarah Rippon also completing the course.
Robbie Howlett (34th, 1:08.38) impressed over a 10-mile course at Dereham, while Maire Irlam (73rd, 1:16.06) was seventh lady overall and first in her age group.
Fenland RC’s Laura Arnold travelled to Chester for a half marathon, finishing 2,161st in a field of 3,620 runners.
