NEALE-WADE Community College’s Year 7 football team slipped to a brave 2-1 defeat in the Cambridgeshire Schools County Cup Final.
Arthur Mellows Village College, from Glinton, Peterborough, took the lead against the March school’s youngest side. However, Neale-Wade deservedly equalised before the break when Ellis Fulcher headed home Brettlan Liddy’s pinpoint cross.
However, Mellows clinched a winner with 10 minutes left to win a thrilling final which was played in great spirit throughout.
