A YOUTH football team completed a sponsored six-mile walk to raise money for a new team kit.
Richard Scott Football Club’s Under-12s team raised more than �400 to buy the blue and white strip.
Ian Huggins, the team’s manager, said: “On behalf of myself and the club I would just like to thank everyone who sponsored the players.”
Huggins said he is also looking to add new players to his squad before the side’s league season starts on September 17.
